In his last lecture, Randy Pausch gives an inspiring and moving lecture to the world. Not only does he offer his lessons on how to lead a great a life, but he truly understood the meaning of life that keeps him strong and courageous faced with cancer and months to live. Again, truly inspiring.

A few lessons from Randy:

• Most of what we learn, we learn indirectly (or by “head fake” as he says)

• “Experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted”

• If you want to learn what it takes to be a leader–watch Captain Kirk in Star Trek.

• Brick Walls are there for a reason [in life]: they let us prove how badly we want things

• Wait long enough and people will surprise and impress you.

• Just have fun

• Loyalty is a two-way street

• Brick walls let us show our dedication

• get a feedback loop; and listen to it! - hard part is listening to it. When people give you feedback, cherish it.

• Find the best in everybody; no matter how you have to wait for them to show it.

• be good at something; it makes you valuable

• must enable the dreams of others

• It’s not knowing how to achieve your dreams, it’s about how you lead your life. If you lead your life the right way, karma will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you. (my favorite)
